I purchased the .380 to back-up my Sig 230. It is a great pocket/boot gun, and is very easy to conceal. I was pleased with the bench accuracy of the Cobra. Two things a new buyer of a Derringer must keep in mind is (1)that a lighter weapon has a greater recoil since there is less mass and no action of a slide to reduce recoil, and (2)it has a very heavy trigger pull. This along with its single action, and safety helps assure you that it is not going to go off in your pocket, but it can affect the accuracy of the weapon if you have not gotten used to the pull. In a defense situation adrenalin will get the trigger pulled. I like to shoot my pistols and ten standard rounds are enough with this pistol. I reload, so I have reduced loads so that I can comfortably practice shoot and build up my trigger finger strength. For safety and to prevent squib like loads in my Sig 230, I have marked the aft-end of all of my reduced load brass with RED MAGIC MARKER. Cobra has holsters and a cute Derringer tie tack that would be nice addition to a "Purchase Package." You can order these direct from Cobra in Salt Lake, but it would be nice to purchase them when you purchase your Derringer. Over All I love this little gun

Great little Concealed Carry Weapon. Be patient because it took months to get it.
