Easy to shoot. Fired 2.5 inch 410 00Buck shot with no problem. After a few practice rounds (first one in the dirt), I could hit bull eye at 25 ft with ease.
recoil is moderate and easily controlled. Of course I''m not firing 3 inch shells.
Stays fairly cool and spents are easy to remove with extractor provided. Reload takes less than 6 seconds after some practice.
The crossbolt safety is a BIG PROBLEM, however and I believe Bond should replace or fix my piece. The cross bolt easily slides side to side because the hammer sits too far back to engage and prevent the crossbolt from sliding. Seems the hammer spring pushes the hammer back too far to engage and hold the crossbolt. Nothing owner can adjust that I can see.
I really like this piece and carry it everywhere.
